We have it on good authority that Sound Lounge owners have turned their back on the thuggery that passes for security in the city center and have sorted out their management team with a severe sacking.

No mugs, the owners pulled the previous security team out and got new ones in.

It seems the ridiculous behaviour of the previous team, which warranted attention from the local papers for their crapness, and from the local police and council, has - perhaps unsurprisingly -  seen the experienced owners of the Sound Lounge - formally Frames - instigate a complete change of personnel at the venue.

Good for them, as anyone knows, security sets the atmosphere for the night, and can often get way above their station and spoil a perfectly good night.
Its not the first time its happened to independant promotors in CMK venues. Old hax may remember Trish from Sensoria having similar trouble, and the online petition instigated by Mad Cow Pate after the unacceptable behaviour of the security teams at Club Freeze (the Bar above the Ice Rink, when it tried to be a 'club' lol)
