Site hosts have publicly announced the closure of the Alt:MK website after they failed to contact the owners through normal communications channels.<br />
We came across this news following our normal trawl around the net for gig dates around town.<br />
The announcement has been added to the banner of each page on the site, as follows:

I host this website and am unable to contact the organisers. It looks like there's no new events so I assume this site is no longer required.<br />
I intend to close the site in April if no contact is made. bob@netgap.co.uk

This of course follows revelations on the same site that serious mucking about about had been done by Madcaps loosely termed management just before christmas - the sort of behaviour that makes promotors give up the ghost and not bother in our experience, and also comes as no great surprise.<br /> ..in our experience
