Outside the banner announces Under New Management as bold as you like. Inside, new landlord Paul is a troubleshooter for the brewery, known for turning pubs around. An old rocker from way back, he has unfortunately been told by the brewery to keep a lid on it - presumably as a result of the proximity of the councillors henderson (three doors down the road) and the riot van that was required to attend one of the drum and bass nights a couple of months ago.

Pauls ethos is to 'give the pub back to the locals' so it remains to be seen whether music of a more acoustic variety might yet be performed - Its definately worth getting up there and pretending to be a local on behalf of your local music scene we reckon
